58 Blessings: Blessing 7 - Confidence

As mentioned for the past few weeks, I have been developing spiritually over the last few months, the last few years really, and as such I'd like to share 58 Blessings that I have come across as discussed in Mike Murdock's book "The Covenant of 58 Blessings".

I will be posting weekly, 1 Blessing per week until I've covered all 58 Blessings. I pray this 58 week journey will help lead you to a life filled with health, blessings, favor, God's glory shining on your life, your dreams coming to past, etc.

So without further delay:

Blessing 7 - Confidence

Isaiah 40:31

New King James Version (NKJV)

31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

2 Corinthians 3:5

New King James Version (NKJV)

5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,

2 Corinthians 9:8

New King James Version (NKJV)

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Philippians 1:6

New King James Version (NKJV)

6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

Philippians 4:14

14 Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress.

2 Timothy 1:7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

1 John 4:4

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.


I highly recommend that these scriptures be studied and meditated, not only in the NKJV but also in other translations of the Holy Bible as well.

I recommend starting with the following versions, but by no means is this an exhaustive list of versions of the Holy Bible that you should limit yourself to:

MSG (The Message Translation)
AMP (The Amplified Version)
KJV (King James Version)
NLT (New Living Translation)
NIV (New International Version)
NASB (New American Standard Bible/Version)
